New headquarters construction

In May 2013, the company transferred its headquarters functions from the former headquarters (now the Yokkaichi Plant) to a new building conveniently located one-minute walk from Kintetsu Yokkaichi Station. The building's sharp, handsome appearance has made it a new landmark in the Kintetsu Yokkaichi Station area. With a total of ten floors, the building's west side features open-ceiling construction from floors two to seven, with the result being a communication and relaxation space utilizing natural light. In a layout that facilitates interdepartmental and inter-floor communication and an overall sense of unity, floors four and five and floors six and seven are connected by interior stairways that utilize the open-ceiling space. For the offices from floors three to seven, to easily accommodate organization and usage changes, as work desks we adopted uniform multipurpose tables in 1,200 x 1,200 mm modules. Combined with the adjacent open-ceiling area, the result is a work space that provides both flexibility and easy communication.
