Okamura Awarded Second Prize at ORGATEC TOKYO Awards 2025

We are pleased to announce that our exhibit at ORGATEC TOKYO 2025, held from June 3 to 5 at Tokyo Big Sight, has been awarded Second Prize in the ORGATEC TOKYO Awards.
The awards recognize booths that best represent the event’s 2025 theme, “SHIFT DESIGN.” Okamura’s booth, themed “Chairs, Seating, and Okamura – Supporting Japan’s Culture of Sitting,” featured around 100 chairs used in offices, public spaces, schools, and healthcare facilities, reflecting the role of seating in diverse aspects of daily life and work.

Our three-story circular booth showcased Okamura’s wide range of products and technologies, including our signature Multi-Density Cushion, Ankle Tilt Reclining, and Back Curve Adjustment Mechanism. Visitors were invited to experience the comfort and innovation of our seating through hands-on interaction, guided by our expert Chairmasters.

The design was praised for its thoughtful concept, symbolic structure, and elegant lighting, as well as its sustainable approach using reusable materials. We are honored to receive this recognition and will continue to explore how better seating can shape better ways of working and living.
