Okamura Corporation and Okamura's affiliate company in China, Okamura (China) Co., Ltd., will exhibit for the first time at Design Shanghai 2023, which will be held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai, China) from June 8 (Thursday) to 11 (Sunday), 2023.
Design Shanghai 2023, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, is Asia's leading design exhibition and one of Asia's largest international design events, featuring six design sections. Okamura will exhibit, in the Workplace Design section, Lives Post + Beam, a building material product launched in Japan in November 2022, and Task Seating Sphere, which will go on sale overseas in June. Okamura proposes spaces and work style ideas that enhance team unity (Base For Team) and exhibit products made of environmentally friendly materials.

Okamura aims to promote brand awareness further and develop and grow its business in the Chinese office furniture market.
At the exhibition, visitors will also be able to experience Lives Post + Beam's 20 color variations and highly flexible layout in a VR space. The colors and layouts will be expressed according to visitors' requests in a VR space that imitates an actual office space.
