Sabrina is another award-winning collaboration between Okamura and ITALDESIGN. The curved, organic form applies ergonomics to technology, to create harmony between the human body and the working environment.
The Industrial Design Division of Italdesign, headquarterd in Moncalieri, Torino-Italy, was established in 1981 and today is one of the most renowned and leading organizations in the industrial and transportation design fields on a worldwide level. Acclaimed for its proclivity in all-round functional design, Italdesign's projects range from automobiles to pieces of furniture, from tires to watches and home appliances.

The Iconic Sabrina Ring Structure

Seat Height Adjustment
The lever under the seat adjusts seat height in the range of 400 - 530mm.
Reclining Tension Adjustment
A dial under the seat adjusts the reclining tension.
Reclining Lock and Tilt Adjustment
A dial under the seat locks and unlocks the reclining function and allows you to enter forward-tilt position that comes in useful when working at computers or writing.
Synchro Reclining
The chair's backrest and seat can be synchronously reclined at maximum angles of 23 degrees backward and 10 degrees forward.
Adjustable Arms
Arms can be adjusted in three dimensions: height, depth, and angle - enabling the most comfortable elbow support for a variety of tasks.
Seat Depth Adjustment
A lever under the seat adjusts seat depth within a range of 50mm.
Multiple Density Cushion
The cushion utilizes three types of urethane foam, of varying firmness layered together, to promote healthy sitting. Softer support is at the front of the seat, reducing pressure on the thighs for improved circulation; denser cushioning at the back firmly supports the hips for stability and improved posture.
