Our goal was to create an environmentally friendly chair with a simple and timeless design and optimal seating comfort.

With its gradual curve, the seat shell provides excellent comfort.

The backrest shell, seat and frame are formed from one single piece of resin, giving e.n.a. a sense of unity.

Targeting co-creation spaces that require stylish solutions, e.n.a. was born from our collaboration with ITO Design where the goal was to create a chair that could represent Okamura's existing lineup. ITO Design is a German design firm that has produced a variety of furniture designs and received numerous design awards. To create a classic look, particular emphasis was placed on achieving the appearance of seamless unity between the shell and pipe leg frame.

With its seamless fusion of the backseat and shell, e.n.a. achieves a simple design and construction. With this product, we have endeavored to reduce CO2 emissions by decreasing the number of parts.* (*Compared to our previous products.)
