Okamura initiated its environmental efforts in 1997 by embracing GREEN WAVE. Today, we create products based on circular design thinking and contribute to realizing a sustainable society. Okamura has established its own seven criteria for judging products created with Circular Design Thinking from an environmental perspective.

Okamura is thinking in terms of the circular economy. We aim to make more effective use of our limited resources and minimize waste throughout the product life cycle – from product planning and design to sales, maintenance, reuse, and recycling. As we consider the environment in our decision-making, we can contribute to the creation of a more sustainable society.
