Okamura Recognized as an “Environmentally Sustainable Company” in Japan’s 7th ESG Finance Awards.

We are delighted to announce that Okamura Corporation has been selected as an “Environmentally Sustainable Company” in the 7th ESG Finance Awards Japan, organized by Japan’s Ministry of the Environment.

The award recognizes companies that meet established standards for the quality and transparency of sustainability-related disclosures. This marks Okamura’s second consecutive year of recognition.

The ESG Finance Awards Japan were established in 2019 to promote ESG finance and highlight leading initiatives by investors, financial institutions, and corporations contributing to environmental and social impact.

Guided by its purpose, Okamura advances sustainability initiatives across people, workplace, environment, and responsible corporate governance, supported by clear targets and KPIs. Through these efforts, Okamura is working toward contributing to a decarbonized society by 2050.
