Okamura Selected for CDP Climate Change “A List” for the Third Consecutive Year

Okamura Corporation has been selected as an “A List” company in the 2025 assessment conducted by CDP, a leading international non-profit organization in the environmental sector. This recognition highlights Okamura’s outstanding efforts and transparency in addressing climate change. This marks the third consecutive year that Okamura has received CDP’s highest rating, following its initial recognition in 2023.

CDP is a global non-profit organization that operates a worldwide disclosure system for environmental data from companies and municipalities. Since its establishment in 2000, CDP has encouraged organizations to disclose their environmental impact, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and protect water resources and forests by leveraging capital markets and corporate purchasing power.

Okamura has been responding to the CDP Climate Change Questionnaire since 2021. After receiving an “A-” rating in 2022 and its first “A List” recognition in 2023, the company has continued to strengthen its climate-related initiatives and disclosures, securing its place on the A List for the third consecutive year in 2025.

In addition, Okamura responded for the first time in 2025 to CDP’s assessments in the Water Security and Forests categories. As a result, the company received an “A-” rating in Water Security and a “B” rating in Forests.
