Strength from adopting natural wisdom

The hexagon is said to be nature’s most efficient shape, and Abilis adopts it for frame structures. Each chair incorporates two hexagonal loop frames, minimizing the amounts of materials and the number of shapes required, but at the same time providing a strong structure that firmly supports your back.

Fewer components, less impact on the environment

The simple structure reduces the number of components, making the chair simpler to dismantle and sort into different materials. That promotes the re-use of components as raw materials, reducing environmental impact.

3D adjustment for armrests

Armrests can be adjusted in three dimensions. Press the button under each arm pad to change the height through a 100 mm (4″) range. The pads can be adjusted through 50 mm (2″) and angled up to 20 degrees left or right.

Adjust reclining tension for a comfortable posture

Reclining tension can be adjusted to suit your body. The backrest reclines through 23 degrees, and can be locked at the position required.

Single-lever seat depth adjustment

The sliding seat can be adjusted backwards and forwards through a 40 mm (1.6″) range. Use the lever under the seat to adjust.
