We are excited to announce that three of our seating products—Contessa Seconda, CYNARA, and Up-Ring—have received the Declare Label, a globally recognized environmental label developed by the International Living Future Institute (ILFI). This program promotes material transparency by disclosing all chemical ingredients present at 100ppm (0.01%) or higher, including those on the Red List of substances known to pose serious risks to human health and the environment.

Declare-labeled products contribute to green building certifications such as WELL and LEED, especially in the furniture category. As workplace well-being becomes a critical factor in ESG evaluations, choosing products that prioritize transparency and human and environmental safety is more important than ever.

Okamura Japanese furniture manufacturer X Declare

Okamura is proud to be the only Japanese furniture manufacturer to have received the Declare Label, reflecting our strong commitment to sustainability and the health of people and the planet.
