Okamura Earns Declare Label and Level® 3 Certification for Seating Products

We are excited to announce that three of our seating products—Contessa Seconda, CYNARA, and Up-Ring—have received the Declare Label, a globally recognized environmental label developed by the International Living Future Institute (ILFI). This program promotes material transparency by disclosing all chemical ingredients present at 100ppm (0.01%) or higher, including those on the Red List of substances known to pose serious risks to human health and the environment.

In conjunction with the acquisition of the Declare Label, 24 of our seating products have achieved Level 3 certification, the highest tier of the LEVEL® sustainability certification based on the ANSI/BIFMA e3 standard. The Declare Label contributed additional points in the “Health and Wellness” category, supporting our advancement to Level 3.
