Okamura Group’s Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Targets Receive SBT Certification from International Initiative

Okamura Corporation has received SBT certification from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for the Okamura Group’s greenhouse gas emission reduction targets, which are based on scientific evidence to limit the global average temperature increase to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels, in accordance with the Paris Agreement.

The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) drives ambitious climate action in the private sector by enabling organizations to set science-based emissions reduction targets.
